ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Ice fishers on Pewaukee Lake noted thick ice remained in the middle despite melting conditions Monday, while a Ford Bronco broke through the weakened ice at the boat launch Saturday night (photos show the SUV submerged), forcing the driver to climb out safely.  TMJ-4

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Oscar’s Frozen Custard plans to reopen in Brookfield in April as owners Jim and Susie Taylor secure vintage Leon’s machines (lost in a November 2024 fire). Many familiar staff members will return to help restore this beloved local treat.  TMJ-4
  • Milwaukee Tool secured tax incentives after the Menomonee Falls Village Board approved tax districts Monday night for a $206M expansion off Good Hope Road. The project will remodel an existing building into an electric lab and add 750,000 sqft of new space by 2038 on nearly 92 acres.  TMJ-4
