- ➤ At a recent Waukesha School Board meeting, board member Diane Voit posted evaluation materials online and asked residents for feedback, while community members defended Superintendent Jim Sebert during an update on the district’s 'Optimizing Our Future' plan. - ➤ The Kettle Moraine School District will present revised plans to repurpose the closed Magee Elementary building on Tuesday. The updated proposal will outline a community center offering early childhood programs for 3- and 4-year-olds, family literacy, and library collaborations with local partners. The Waukesha Freeman
- ➤ Banting Elementary in Waukesha was honored as a 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School on Wednesday after state education officials visited; it is one of only two Wisconsin schools among 63 recognized nationwide for outstanding achievement. The Waukesha Freeman
