- ➤ Nature Hill Intermediate students perform Disney’s Moana JR at Oconomowoc Arts Center at 7 p.m. today, and Delafield Public Library hosts Pokemon Day Friday with games and trivia. - ➤ Edna Walls celebrated her 100th birthday (born on Feb. 26 on a farm near Moreland and Delafield Avenue) and shared heartfelt advice to live truthfully and do one’s best. - ➤ Students in the Lake Country area who are veterans or descendants can apply for the Hartland Veterans Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will award $500 to $2,500 for a 500-word essay. - ➤ The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is introducing its learning programs to Waukesha County by partnering with WCTC to offer classes, special interest groups, and cultural excursions this spring. - ➤ Moose Lake Management District in Merton is working to address rising lake water levels and shoreline erosion. Board member John Gscheidmeier said residents are divided over fixes (including a costly pipe to Okauchee Lake) as the district will review long-term solutions soon. The Waukesha Freeman

- ➤ Melanie Radzicki McManus has hiked over 10,000 miles, including a 1,200-mile Ice Age Trail completed in 36 days in 2013 and 34 days in 2015. She wrote Thousand Miler (a travel memoir) and plans a new children's book (aimed to inspire young hikers). TMJ-4

- ➤ Waukesha South High School freshman wrestler Penelope Juarez, the only qualifier from the school, overcame a sprained ankle and will head to state, joining teammates from the bowling and powerlifting teams at the tournament (send off event). TMJ-4
