Nick Friedrich from Mukwonago spent his day off plowing driveways and helping stranded drivers across Waukesha County during the storm today, offering his free assistance and receiving thanks with homemade cookies.

The Waukesha School Board approved the $2.5 million sale of Hawthorne Elementary at 111 Maitland Drive to Adeline Montessori School to help meet its growing enrollment needs, and the sale will close on July 1.

The charter school looks forward to serving more local students.
