- ➤ Brookfield Central’s Mock Trial team won the state championship on March 8, finishing a 15-3 season with four unanimous wins including a victory over defending champion Madison West. - ➤ Hamilton School Board candidates Ashlie Schaffner and Adam Gegare are vying for the Sussex seat in an election set for April 7 by proposing plans for improved communication, enhanced student transportation safety and academic support as they respond to changing enrollment trends and community expectations.
