- ➤ Residents in the Arrowhead Union High School District are split over a $136M referendum after a lawsuit filed on March 18 claims the school misled voters on hidden costs—opponents say expenses could top $230M while supporters argue the plan will make schools safer; voters will decide the issue on April 1. - ➤ Today, the Wisconsin Assembly passed Assembly Bill 24—requiring sheriffs to verify the citizenship status of felony suspects and to notify ICE if verification fails. Rep. Adam Neylon said he supports the law—arguing it will stop violent criminals from evading detection in our communities. Waukesha Times
- ➤ On Tuesday, a surge of early voters at Waukesha polls led to long waits — nearly 500 voters experienced confusion over ballot instructions due to limited staff — and by Wednesday additional poll workers reduced the lines, according to interim clerk Linda Gourdoux. TMJ-4
