- ➤ Waukesha School District detailed its Optimizing Our Future initiative after the board voted Nov. 12 to close Bethesda, Hawthorne and Whittier elementary schools by the school year's end. Staff are beginning moves and finalizing transportation and staffing plans — changes that will ease the transition. The Waukesha Freeman
- ➤ Families in Hamilton School District can now track their child's school bus in real time using the new My Ride K12 app (offering estimated stop times and alerts about delays). The setup managed by Dairyland requires downloading the app and linking a student account. The Waukesha Freeman
