- ➤ Waukesha County District Attorney Lesli Boese said her office faces a crisis as grant funding for critical prosecutor positions will end on July 1—reducing the staff to 16—and the office must choose which criminals to prosecute amid severe understaffing. FOX6
- ➤ In 2022, Medicaid transfers gave Waukesha residents an average of $865 each and totaled $355.12 million — 8.6% of all government funds.
