- ➤ Waupun Correctional Institution inmate Miguel Robles Jr., 44, attempted to bribe a Waukesha County court clerk by sending a letter in May 2024 that detailed how he planned to smuggle drugs into the prison and profit from altered legal documents—prosecutors charged him this week. FOX6
- ➤ Daniel Barton, a 36-year-old Milwaukee man who avoided jail time after stealing police squads, was arrested on April 11 at Jilly’s gas station on Bluemound Road in Elm Grove for stealing a soda and clashing with officers on a bus — he now faces charges including disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer, bail jumping, and retail theft and is set for a preliminary hearing on May 28. - ➤ A Dousman man, Jacob Schindler, lost his bid to dismiss charges stemming from a fatal crash last summer at Highways 18 and 67—he was charged with operating while his license was revoked and violating a court order, faces up to 6.5 years in prison if convicted, and has his cash bond reduced to $5,000 with a preliminary hearing set for May 16.
