- ➤ The new Lapham Lodge at Lapham Peak will open on May 17 at 10 a.m. in Delafield with a 5000 square feet space featuring a fireplace, multipurpose room and covered patio overlooking the trailhead — the building will later be turned over to the state parks system. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
- ➤ A Waukesha County senior group, Learning in Retirement of Waukesha County Inc., is offering 30 classes a season from the basement of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hartland to help curb loneliness and depression among seniors by adding members and encouraging learning. The group will hold a fundraiser at Culvers on Capitol Drive in Brookfield on April 29 (10% of sales between 4-7 p.m. will be donated) to boost outreach and class participation. FOX6
