- ➤ VFW Post 721 seeks community participation for a Memorial Day march on May 25, honoring fallen veterans. - ➤ Raised Grain Brewing Company is hosting Guitar City Live featuring the Battle of the Bands (Wisconsin Youth Edition) to benefit the Chad Smith Foundation. - ➤ Officials in Waukesha and Burlington monitored the Fox River on Friday as rising water led to street and park closures and urged caution in flooded areas. The NWS reported Waukesha levels just under 8 feet and Burlington expecting up to 12.5 feet, with sandbags offered after 2 p.m. FOX6

- ➤ The Plan Commission recommended a conditional-use permit for the first phase of the Breck Athletic Complex with four synthetic turf soccer fields planned for 2026 in Big Bend — the Village Board will decide on the permit at its May 7 meeting. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
