Designing Women with a Cause is hosting its 30th Annual Theme Table event today at St. John Neumann Catholic Church (2400 W.
Highway 59), featuring creatively decorated tables themed 'All You Need Is Love' with music, refreshments, and activities for a $10 ticket to benefit ACAP.
VFW Post 721 seeks community participation for a Memorial Day march on May 25, honoring fallen veterans.
The march starts at 9 a.m. at the Lee Sherman Dreyfus State Office Building, moves to the library parking lot at 10 a.m., and concludes with service at Cutler Park at 11 a.m.

Waukesha County Fair announced Hoobastank and Eve 6 will headline the Miller Lite Main Stage on July 17 — admission is free with fair entry and tickets go on sale this morning.

Officials in Waukesha and Burlington monitored the Fox River on Friday as rising water led to street and park closures and urged caution in flooded areas.
The NWS reported Waukesha levels just under 8 feet and Burlington expecting up to 12.5 feet, with sandbags offered after 2 p.m.

The Plan Commission recommended a conditional-use permit for the first phase of the Breck Athletic Complex with four synthetic turf soccer fields planned for 2026 in Big Bend — the Village Board will decide on the permit at its May 7 meeting.

Top rated Muskego Warriors baseball team is chasing a second state title under head coach Jacob Paige in his 16th season and boasts 11 seniors with six players headed to Division I programs (they won last year's title).
The team will aim for another championship in upcoming games.
