The Village of Lac La Belle approved an ordinance allowing ATVs and UTVs to drive on local roads—new street signs mark the change and the rules require liability insurance.
Matt Thompson of the Okauchee Area ATV/UTV Club said he hopes Waukesha County will soon follow Jefferson County’s example in giving these vehicles county road access.
Waukesha County Board Supervisor Richard Morris died unexpectedly on April 28 at age 83—he had served District 3, covering Merton and Lisbon since 2012 and was known for his agricultural insight and friendly nature.
