- ➤ On April 28, Oconomowoc police shot a sandhill crane at 2nd and Maple after a homeowner obtained a permit when his truck was damaged and nearby windows broken, and bodycam video shows the officer fired two shots— the second to end the bird’s suffering. FOX6

- ➤ Park View Middle School in Mukwonago was recognized as a 2024-25 Project Lead The Way Distinguished School on May 14. It is the only middle school in Wisconsin (and one of only 19 nationwide) to earn the award for eight consecutive years (showing a strong focus on STEM learning). FOX6
