Students and graduates from Waukesha Transitional Academy are teaming with the VFW to place flags on veterans' graves at Prairie Home Cemetery ahead of Memorial Day.
The tradition, which began in 2007 to honor local service members, reflects the community's ongoing commitment to remembrance.
Waukesha County will open select county roads in Dousman, Ottawa, and Summit to ATVs and UTVs on May 29 in a one-year pilot program.
Riders including club member Matt Wedig have awaited this change, which follows requests from local communities.
