The Wisconsin DNR and Muskego Police are investigating a fatal boating accident that happened June 7 at Idle Isle Park on Little Muskego Lake—preliminary investigations show a boat run by a 74-year-old hit another boat carrying three people, and a 10-year-old who received immediate care died at the hospital.
A Waukesha man, 40-year-old Earl Cross, was sentenced to five years in prison and seven years of extended supervision for possessing and intending to deliver cocaine in a 2024 drug investigation where police recovered over 100 Homer Simpson bags filled with marijuana and other drugs—evidence collected from a home near Moreland Boulevard and Jennifer Lane.
