- ➤ The Waukesha Emergency Overflow Shelter, renamed Sentry House because of its location at Sunset and Sentry Drive, reopened after repairs costing $100,000 fixed damage from two sprinkler bursts in December and February. The shelter now serves up to 40 single adults while families move to another facility — leaders said the insurance company is still investigating the cause. FOX6
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, June 9, a multi-vehicle crash on State Highway 164 in the Village of Waukesha left a 91-year-old woman and a 92-year-old man dead — two other drivers were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. FOX6
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Waukesha County Technical College has launched the Midwest’s first Applied Artificial Intelligence lab to put AI theory into real projects, said lab director Sarah Buszka.
