The Oconomowoc Watershed Protection Program finished a $500,000 water quality project on Cottonwood Creek on June 10th, using native wetland planting and root wads to slow the stream and block sediment that harmed Lac La Belle—partners and a DNR grant helped fund the work.
The effort will improve the creek’s flow and support healthy water quality in Lake Country.
