Pete Bosch, the district governor of Rotary District 6270 (55 clubs, 2,500 members), said that members of Oconomowoc’s Rotary chapter received vulgar emails and threats after the club first planned then retracted a non-political parade for Fourth of July celebrations.
The club reversed its decision amid criticism and will hold the parade at 5 p.m. on July 4.

Developers announced plans for the Brookfield Public Market on 2.1 acres at the north end of Brookfield Square Mall, where the former Boston Store once stood—featuring 12 merchant stalls for local vendors.
Visit Brookfield, in partnership with Irgens and the city, said more details on cost and funding will be released next Tuesday—promising a revitalized space for local businesses.
