  • A 17-year-old died after jumping into Pewaukee Lake at 12:07 a.m. Sunday, June 29— a friend called 911 to report the jump— and police said alcohol did not seem to be a factor.  TMJ-4

BUSINESS NEWS

  • A Dunkin' Baskin-Robbins is being built near Bayview Road and Greenwald Court in Mukwonago after its plan was approved in mid-2024 and work was delayed by frost (weather halted the original start). The 2,000-square-foot building with inside seating and a drive-through on (0.65-acre lot) is expected to open by Sept. 30.  Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

  • On July 12, the 49th Lake Country Arts Festival will be held at Naga-Waukee Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – with 140 local, juried artists selling handmade goods and local vendors offering food.
