- ➤ A Waukesha County judge on Thursday denied a defense motion to suppress evidence tied to the murder of Carlos Maldonado after police found items in Kevin Lychwick’s car that support charges of first-degree homicide and hiding a corpse (he is 63 and held on $5 million bail) and set a status hearing for August 29 ahead of a trial scheduled for September 8-12.
