EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Arrowhead High School Board voted to direct its Policy Committee to study changes to the phone rules—including a possible Bell to Bell ban that would restrict use throughout the school day. Some board members supported using policies from nearby feeder schools while others raised concerns over cost and student workarounds. The Waukesha Freeman
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Waukesha Common Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall to discuss safety improvements at the dangerous Sunset — Guthrie intersection after a study revealed 13 crashes including a fatal incident on Dec. 30 caused by an allegedly intoxicated driver. The council is considering adding permanent stop signs, flags, and a median option in future CIP projects to help curb the trend. The Waukesha Freeman
