Pop's Pub on Pioneer is collecting donations (water, contractor bags, gloves and tarps) through Saturday for families hit by a tornado in Menasha, and local residents are signing up to help with cleanup efforts.
Waukesha schools have reorganized ahead of the 2026-2027 academic year by closing Bethesda, Hawthorne and former Whittier elementary schools and relocating the K-8 STEM School to Horning Middle School.
The district is finalizing updated learning spaces and hosting Welcome To events on Aug. 20, 25, 26, and 27.
Developers have submitted Phase 2 plans for a baseball section of the Breck Athletic Complex in Big Bend, including six fields with seating and concessions, to the Village for review.
The review, which covers a (400-page) packet, will be posted online as the team moves toward a fall groundbreaking.
Waukesha’s Revolutions Twirling Club won its fourth consecutive national championship at the National Baton Twirling Association event held at Notre Dame University from July 15-18.
The team of 16 athletes worked up to 20 hours each week to perfect its 8 minute routine titled Life, which was inspired by a board game.
