- ➤ U-Haul is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container use at 11 company locations across the Milwaukee area +including one site in Waukesha+ to help residents recovering from last weekend's floods. The offer applies to new rentals +subject to availability, and requires U-Box containers to remain on site to protect belongings+. CBS58
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At Menomonee Falls Park, two people became trapped in dangerous, swirling waters while trying to rescue a dog and were pulled to safety by first responders just after 4:30 p.m.—heavy rain had intensified the current, and the dog still remains missing. TMJ-4
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ After a weekend storm, Waukesha experienced two sanitary sewer overflows as the first occurred near Deer Trails Road around 1 a.m. on Sunday with about 9,600 gallons discharged and was fixed by 5 a.m., and the second began near Burr Oak Boulevard around 4:25 p.m. on Sunday and was contained by 12:30 a.m. on Monday with limited public exposure.
