  • Waukesha County Business Alliance is forming a coalition to support the expansion of Interstate 94 from Highway SS to the county line after a gubernatorial veto removed the project from the state budget. Businesses may sign a letter by September 2 to back the plan, and a meeting is set for the same day at 8:00 a.m. (2717 N Grandview Blvd #300 in Waukesha).  Waukesha Times

  • Waukesha County District Attorney Lesli Boese said state officials dismissed the charge against Johanna Grace at an Aug 7 conference after a four-day trial acquitted Deborah Link, with both women facing abuse charges linked to inmate Randy Glenn Jr.'s January death.  The Waukesha Freeman
  • On Dec 30, 2024, a West Allis man apologized before receiving a sentence of 10 years in prison plus five years of probation for a drunken-driving crash that killed a high school student after he reportedly raced another vehicle—Jason Zehe pleaded guilty to homicide and endangering safety charges.  The Waukesha Freeman
