- ➤ Sobelman’s of Waukesha is supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters month by featuring its new Buddy Burger that donates $1 from each sale to BBBS of Metro Milwaukee. - ➤ A neighborhood in Waukesha flooded for the third time in three months Monday night — water reached 4 feet in the street and forced residents to evacuate while a neighbor drove his truck through the water to help a family and their dog, and city officials hired a stormwater consultant to study the issue with answers expected by mid-November. - ➤ Hamilton School District will launch the Southeastern Wisconsin Adaptive Sports League to give students with disabilities a fair chance to join high school sports. The program, a partnership with Oak Creek-Franklin, will start with indoor soccer in the fall, bowling in the winter and indoor baseball in the spring — led by experienced coaches.
