- ➤ Waukesha officials have proposed a new vicious dog ordinance that will fine owners up to $2,500 for a first offense and $5,000 for a repeat incident involving bites or attacks—dog owners at Minooka Park shared mixed opinions as the council plans to discuss the measure on October 21. TMJ-4
- ➤ A local homeowner whose basement flooded with about 10 inches of water is now worried about rebuilding after a heavy rain showed his village storm drain is draining slowly. He reached out to county and village officials for answers, and they said the drain was checked while they review the design and potential tree root blockages — officials are still researching the cause.
