In Elm Grove, the Midwest Vocal Express won the Land O’ Lakes District Chorus Competition on Oct.

11, claiming their 10th district title and a spot in an international contest next July. The chorus will perform in a holiday show on Dec. 13 in Jefferson—hosting a guest night on Nov. 3 at Elm Grove Lutheran Church as it prepares for its next event.
