- ➤ New Berlin nonprofit A Doll Like Me received a surprise donation from a 7-year-old who used her birthday money and allowance to sponsor a custom doll for a UK girl whose arm was amputated during cancer treatment+ the nonprofit has crafted over 1,500 dolls in a decade and now seeks a corporate donation to help meet the needs of more than 2,000 children waiting for a doll.
