New Berlin nonprofit A Doll Like Me received a surprise donation from a 7-year-old who used her birthday money and allowance to sponsor a custom doll for a UK girl whose arm was amputated during cancer treatment+ the nonprofit has crafted over 1,500 dolls in a decade and now seeks a corporate donation to help meet the needs of more than 2,000 children waiting for a doll.

For the 2024-25 school year, Waukesha County schools enrolled 2,880 multiracial students—making up 4.9% of all students.

Brookfield native Andrew Rohde joins the Badgers this season after playing for Virginia and St. Thomas—he played his final high school game at the Kohl Center.

He said the chance is a blessing and he looks forward to a strong season with his team.
