- ➤ Fourteen Waukesha County school districts were rated as 'Significantly Exceeds Expectations' on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction report cards for the 2024-25 school year when the results were released Tuesday; school leaders say the ratings, based on achievement and growth, show high performance + a commitment to continued improvement. - ➤ The School District of Waukesha board voted on November 12th to close Bethesda and Hawthorn Elementary schools and sell Whittier Elementary building—an effort to address falling enrollment that may lead to more future cuts. FOX6
- ➤ Waukesha County Technical College announced a $2 million gift from the PPC Foundation that will fund an expansion of its Applied AI Lab with a new second story and naming rights for Building Q.
