Pewaukee Parks and Rec has announced it will take over Waterfront Wednesdays, a lakeside concert series run by Positively Pewaukee for nearly 30 years.

The event will return in summer 2026—dates and band lineups will be announced later.

Officials in Waukesha advise residents to travel only if necessary today as a winter storm is set to bring light snow in the morning and heavy snow with strong wind gusts later — crews have treated main streets and ask drivers to leave room for plows to keep roads clear.

The Department of Public Works urges residents to keep fire hydrants clear of snow so firefighters can quickly reach water in emergencies.

Homeowners and business operators should clear a three-foot space around hydrants — a measure that helps crews respond faster — to protect lives and property.
