- ➤ The Kettle Moraine School District will not use Wishtree as a one-book community read at Dousman Elementary because parents raised concerns about its content—school officials now are reviewing the book and its role in the curriculum. Superintendent Stephen Plum said the decision came after feedback from families and the PTO chose the book without full district review—prompting a closer look at its use. The Waukesha Freeman
- ➤ Waukesha County districts reported 5,953 Hispanic students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, marking a 0.6% increase from the previous year—Hispanic students made up 10.2% of the 58,602 students enrolled. The Waukesha School District had the highest count with 2,767 Hispanic students. Waukesha Times

- ➤ The Carroll Pioneers have set their schedule for the 2025-2026 college basketball season—eight games with four at home, including December 3 against North Park Vikings and February 21 against Carthage Firebirds at Van Male Field House.
