COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Mukwonago business owner Calaya Kostecki of Bee Well Cafe revived an online petition that has gathered nearly 900 signatures—she calls for changes at the local chamber after a dispute over her planned entertainment for the Midnight Magic holiday event. CULTURE NEWS

  • After 18 years of blues music and community fundraising, the Waukesha Rotary Bluesfest is shutting down permanently as declining attendance and a damaging rainstorm have made the event unsustainable; it will not return in August 2026.
