- ➤ Delafield’s 13-year-old Bobby Merkt organized his second annual Skate for Tots event Saturday night at Four Seasons Skate Park in Milwaukee to collect holiday toy donations for Toys for Tots. The skate competition drew more participants and sponsors than last year. TMJ-4
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Citizens Bank has partnered with Mukwonago Area School District to launch Mukwonago Checking, a new account that gives 0.50% of every purchase to support student programs. Adults 18 and older can open an account in branch or online, while minors (ages 13 and older) need a guardian co-signer. The Waukesha Freeman
- ➤ Last weekend, nearly a foot of snow halted shoppers on Small Business Saturday in downtown, causing small businesses to lose key holiday sales. Local shop owners now urge residents to shop local (to keep community funds circulating) as the season continues. TMJ-4
