Hebron Housing Services expanded the shelter at 1210 Sentry Drive in midsummer and has been at capacity since September.

The reconfigured site now serves 38 men + women and six family rooms while local agencies partner to offer year-round winter shelter as temperatures drop.

A fundraiser held Saturday at Curley's Waterfront Sports Bar & Grill in Pewaukee helped raise money for 13-year-old Calvin Brezgel, who has a rare genetic disorder affecting about 40 people worldwide; it covered equipment costs not met by insurance and set the stage for future support events.

Vintage Vault Arcade, a Mukwonago business known for its retro games, is considering expansion in Waukesha to add nearly 200 games and a new space (5000 to 7000 sqft) as city officials update outdated arcade rules.

The proposal will be discussed on Dec. 16.
