- ➤ Robert Jude, co-owner of The Elbow Room in Brookfield and Cedarburg, is in critical condition with liver and kidney failure after a medical emergency last weekend, and his business partners as well as customers have started a GoFundMe campaign (which has raised nearly $100,000) to help cover his family’s expenses. - ➤ The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County will move its nonprofit food warehouse to 1705 S. Prairie Ave after the Plan Commission recommended approval on Wednesday. The pantry will operate Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended hours on Mondays and Saturdays, and the remodel will add parking and a new client entrance (despite local traffic concerns). EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Waukesha school placement emails on Thursday contained errors that mistakenly listed students’ secondary enrollment instead of the primary assignment for Butler and Les Paul middle schools, district officials said.
